I needed to buy some books for my lit classes today, so Ian and I ventured off to find a bookstore. On the way to the one we were actually looking for we took a wrong turn and ended up in a smaller one. The man at the store was brilliant, dashing around and grabbing books from the shelves for me after I stared blankly at the Fiction shelf for awhile, not realizing that many of the books I needed were plays.

Tonight was fish and chips night! We went to Leo Burdock, an apparently famous fish and chips place that U2 and Liam Neeson and Sandra Bullock have eaten at. It's literally a hole in the wall--no seating and barely any room to stand. They wrap your order in layers of paper with salt and vinegar thrown in and they hand it to you in a paper bag to take away. The line was out the door, but that's only because there was no room to queue up inside. It was delicious!
